FASHION + WEBSITE DESIGN
For my senior capstone, I wanted to take the opportunity to learn a new skill and design my own clothing line. My partner Jahan and I came up with the concept of creating a brand made entirely of re-purposed, thrifted clothing called Slug Cycle. In nine weeks, we taught ourselves how to sew, designed Slug Cycle’s fourteen piece collection, shot our own photo shoots, and made a one-page-scroll website to showcase it all. In order to show our process of piecing things together from different sources, we used scroll effects to have each piece “come together” in a fun and humorous motion-filled web experience.
The website can be viewed at slugcycle.com and at this time, is best viewed either on a desktop or a laptop computer.
